faceted stone rondelles + smaller round beads (or more faceted rondelles) creates depth & interest to what is really a very simple necklace. these rose quartz strands were just begging to be used, so we created this necklace for a sweet & simple look, perfect to accent a large turquoise-colored pendant.
as always, cut your beadalon with 6 or so extra inches so you can easily maneuver around when it's time to finish off your piece. tape one end to prevent beads from slipping off, or work carefully from both ends of the wire stringing toward the center of the necklace.
we strung our beads in an AB pattern to keep a simple design, but this design is just a starting place that can easily be altered or adjusted based on your preferences.
the pendant we wanted to off had a hole for stringing, but because we wanted it to hang slightly off of the necklace, we used a jump ring & some non-tarnish wire to create a bail for the pendant. we used a jump ring that was smaller than our largest beads, so that the pendant would stay in the center of our necklace.
once we were happy with the length, we crimped our clasp & jump ring onto the beadalon. ta-da!
